10-litre challenge

'10-litre challenge' is a programme implemented by the PUB. PUB and the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) aims to get every individual to reduce daily water consumption by 10 litres and is urging everyone to take part in it. Here are somee various water conservation measures and devices to achieve a saving of 10 litres per person per day.

Note:
Managing the demand of water is just as crucial as securing an adequate supply of water. PUB has a wide-ranging water conservation plan that encourages customers to use water wisely (one of which is the 10-litre challenge). Taken from the PUB website, 'Singapore’s per capita domestic water consumption has been brought down from 165 litres per day in 2003 to the current 155 litres. The target is to lower it to 140 litres by 2030.'

We can reach the target if we all cooperate and help save water for the benefit of everyone!
